I got into mixing when owning a music room on Paltalk about 10 years ago, and got curious how people were playing and mixing music, so eventually I acquired a software program called Traktor, which was fun to experiment with, but quite hard work. I managed to master the basics, but not a fully fledged mixer. In 2008 I met my partner DJ Graphite, who introduced me to Virtual DJ, which was a lot more user friendly, he showed me the ropes, and the rest is history as they say, and my love of music has grown more and more. I dont put myself out there as a proper DJ, as i dont use decks or CDJs etc, but think that I am pretty good at mixing and mashing, as I do love creating mashups lol. I currently co own my own Internet Radio Station called "Audacity FM" with my Fiancé Mark Bradley We have 2 Channels, Trance and House & EDM Channel. www.audacityfm.com You can check out my personal uploads and let me know what ya think, as i am always open to ideas and suggestions. ein schwere frage eig. da jedes set spontan kommt und ich nie plane, klar gibt man sich eine line vor aber enden werd ich sowieso woanders. ansonsten handcreme!!! Biographie Geboren wurde ich an einem kalten Dezembertag des Jahres 1974 – mitten hinein in eine Familie, in der Musikalität einen wichtigen Bestandteil des Lebens darstellte. Die Liebe und Leidenschaft zur Musik wurden mir somit praktisch vererbt… womit mein Werdegang fast schon besiegelt schien. Von Mitte bis Ende der 80er Jahre blieb ich allein der elektronischen Musik treu, ich war ihr geradezu verfallen. Meine Neugier - anfangs durch Kraftwerk, Jean Michel Jarre oder Sven Väth geweckt - beeinflusste meinen Entschluss, diese Form der musikalischen Interpretation zukünftig zu praktizieren und somit meiner Kreativität und auch meiner Produktivität Ausdruck zu verleihen, maßgeblich. Durch jede Menge äußere Einflüsse kam ich der Materie immer näher, die fortan mein Dasein bestimmen sollte. Dass Musik in meinem Leben eine primäre Rolle spielen würde, war mir ohnehin schon von klein auf vorbestimmt. Mein Vater, selbst Lehrer für Orgel, Keyboard und Akkordeon, verlangte von uns Kindern, das heißt meiner Schwester und mir, hinsichtlich Theorie und Praxis, viel ab. Umso grösser war sein Schock, als ich die elektronische Musik der akustischen vorzog, aber zu dem Zeitpunkt brachte mich bereits nichts mehr davon ab, den Spuren der industriellen, technoiden Klänge bis heute zu folgen und mittlerweile auch meinen eigenen Sound zu produzieren. Selbst durch Atari, Commodore & Co. geprägt, kann ich heute eigentlich nur den Kopf schütteln über die fortschrittlichen technischen Möglichkeiten diese Art von Musik zu entwickeln. Mit lang erspartem Taschengeld kaufte ich mir damals einen Lenco und einen Technics SL Plattenspieler sowie einen SoundLab Mixer und fing an, Prioritäten zu setzen. Ich begann damit mir die notwendigen Fertigkeiten und Kenntnisse, dazu diverse Tricks und Kniffe anzueignen. Meinen Stil immer wieder verändernd, verschiedene Genre austestend und auf der Suche mich zu finden, kann ich heute mit Verlaub behaupten, keinen für mich angepassten Beat gefunden zu haben, da mir progressiver Psy mindestens genauso liegt wie minimalistischer Tech-House, was - wie ich finde - durchaus für ein gewisses Maß an Abwechslungsreichtum und Experimentierfreude spricht. Man sollte niemals „nie“ sagen, allerdings verspüre ich derzeit keinerlei Bedürfnis, mich - von einer ganzen, mir zur Verfügung stehenden Palette an Facetten und Möglichkeiten - auf nur ein einziges Genre zu beschränken. Momentan halte ich es für mich persönlich besser, eher genreübergreifend zu agieren, da ich mich dadurch im Stande sehe, auf ein größeres Repertoire zurückgreifen zu können, was somit zugleich mehr Variations- und Entfaltungsmöglichkeiten zulässt. Aufgrund dessen ist auch der Freude und Lust am Umgang mit dem Publikum, der Begeisterung dessen für die eigene Musik und auch der Leidenschaft für den kreativen Schaffensprozess, kaum Grenzen gesetzt. Leider bin ich gegenwärtig beruflich sehr stark eingespannt, was für Euch heißt, dass es vorerst nur online Sets und Tracks zu hören gibt, welche ich unter anderem auch live auf meinem Senderhttp://justin.tv/hui_buh1974 spiele. Ed soon transitioned away from daily band practices in steamy warehouses to settle into a more family suited 9-5 type lifestyle. although still desiring a musical outlet; Ed immersed himself in the exploding DowntownOrlando dance music scene. before long his long friend Keith Kreiner introduced him to 2 Technics 1200's, a mixer and a phat vinyl collection. soon special ed had tables of his own, records and not long after that he was moving crowds wherever he could find speakers and decks, around 92-94. later he made a name for himself by pioneering the groundbreaking FOUNDATION RADIO 96.9FM, underground pirate radio station in Orlando Florida. he would later signto and release records on Kaleidoscope records, Florida's leading most recognizable label for dope electro and funky breaks, Special Ed was able to capitalize on his success, and he has enjoyed gigs all over central and north Florida. then moving to south Florida, the self titled home of the motherfucking bass, and they were ill prepared for the pirate radio guru's blend of high energy electro breaks and higher energy live shows and dj sets. don' blink, or you might miss what this crowd pleasing over-the-top performer will do next;now in 2010 he is living back in his childhood home of Merritt island, Florida with the love of his life and partner-in-crime the serial killerknown as M. Numark TT 1910 Direct drive turntables (Shit i know but i've had em for over 10 years and they still work better than most new numark turntables on the market at the mo) Numark DM 1100SE Performance series mixer (Another antique lol but i learnt to mix on this and wouldn't give it up for the world). Virtual DJ Pro Infinity 8, and have just added a Numark Mixtrack Platinum to my collection, awesome controller. Have also just got a pair of Numark NDX 400's, great cd decks.
